Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social Human Rights betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
